Written by Igbo Focus 15 th February 2025 We now have been acquainted with the fact that United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has benefited some and has thrown many countries into jeopardy. The most dangerous part of it that we are now hearing that the coffers have been used to fund a lot of terrorists in different countries including Boko Haram. It is uncomprehensible to get the picture and the public humiliation played out to see President Muhammadu Buhari and his Military Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai obeying terrorists in raising their flag up as they have conquered them (Nigeria) and the public embarrassment it presented. One would have wondered what could have happened if President Buhari and Military Chief have disobeyed the terrorists; Nigeria could have been nuked. This would cause you thinking “who is then in charge of the country – the president or terrorists?” When Commander-in- Chief is obeying terrorists. And this was happening during the time when America predicated that Nigeria will cease to exist. To cease to exist will mean Nigeria will be destroyed by attack or by blows, it will not be by peaceful means but as a result of conflicts and other drawbacks. We have been calling for a peacefully separation of Nigeria so that each section can go and repair the damages caused to them but frenetic and corrupt few have been shouting one Nigeria one Nigeria which is no longer workable. When you are in a house where people are telling you that many things seemed to be wrong with the house especially the foundation of that house is perilous and cannot be fixed. However, you still remain in the house, at that point whatever happens to you in that house is your own fault. We saw how the 4am inaugurated president – the drug lord, certificate forger, grab it, snatch it and run-away with-it president stole people’s mandate and he is confidence with the anticipation of repeating the same process again in 2027. As it happens now, if Nigerians cannot be wise enough to separate the country into different nations, America, Europeans or terrorists will compulsorily do it for them. Nigeria doesn’t need USAID at all to survive. It is part of corruption meant for kickback. USAID is given to one hand and is taken from the other hand. Corrupt people are enjoying what is happening in Nigeria. Some facts from Hundeyin’s article on USAID: “If you say Alex Jones or Rep Perry is a conspiracy theorist, why then is it that the only evidence you have to back up this claim are publications from press and journalists who oppose them? When Goodluck Jonathan himself told you in an interview that the US interference was too much during his tenure, what do you think the Obama admin's interest was for the interference??? Was Obama after democracy in Nigeria? Was he after respect for rule of law in Nigeria? Was he after Nigeria's economic growth? Was he after human right? What exactly was his interest in Nigeria, because all the aforementioned got much worse under Buhari? Obama clearly told Nigerians to "vote for the next chapter." It was a subtle campaign for Buhari. When Nigeria got 100× worse under Buhari, why was America not interested in changing Buhari's regime?? What exactly is the interest of the US with AID money in Nigeria? There's no evidence of how this AID money has improved Nigeria, so why do they keep spending it? "Oh, the people in our country are embezzling the funds." Fine and good. Are you telling me that America is not aware of this embezzlement and still carry on sending the money??? If someone is spending on you even when you don't deserve it, everyday you give them more than enough reason to stop the funding, and they still insist, when will it become clear to you that THEY are the ones benefiting from the spending and NOT you, unless of course they are a fool? Think. My people. Think. You see this matter; I actually don't need to read anyone's opinion to make up my mind cos the questions listed here are how I probe matters I'm not 100% sure of. My sincere answers to the questions are enough to make up my mind. So, I ask you, answer those questions sincerely and make up your mind. Remember the worst deceit is self-deceit. As for those trying to separate Boko Haram from Islam because it has turned out the insurgent group may have been created by the US, please don't be silly. Boko Haram cannot be separated from Islam. You know why? Islam should have never existed in Nigeria in the first place. It's a tool for conquest/domination —just as Christianity. They are completely foreign and weren't handed to you to benefit you. These religions along with their extremist ideals were specifically handed to you just so it can be used in times like rising Boko Haram soldiers. This why the Isam practiced in the Saudis for instance is not the same with the one practiced in northern Nigeria. It's a different practice for those who "invented" it from those whom it was "exported" to. You accepted Islam and made its sacrosanct. Elevated it way beyond your original way of life. The ones your ancestors lived. Which is why it's easier to convince anyone to be a suicide bomber. If Islam wasn't around, they probably would have used another tool, but you cannot deny that Islam made it far too easy for them.”
