Written by Igbo Focus 13th January 2025 We take this opportunity to congratulate Senator John Azuta-Mbata for winning Ohanaeze presidency in the nick of time general election. President General of Ohanaeze is very important status, a collective assignment to a remarkable person. We need a neutral person to occupier this highly, weighty position of this influential organisation, to be separate from state and local governments. For that reason, it is of great essence for the arrangement to remain so, free from government interference. It is beyond us why South East Governors should ruckus over who should be Ohanaeze President. Ohanaeze is meant for ordinary people, nothing to do with the governors. We don’t know why South East Governors should be participating or agitated over the election of a remarkable person being Ohaneze President General. Governors have their own responsibilities to accomplish but they choose to disturb us over nothing that do not warrant their concern, we are not in their bondage or captivity. They want the enslavement of everything, will it be them to dictate to us who to be our conventional leader?
