Written by Igbo Focus 9th December 2024 It is a welcome development for the declaration of the United States of Biafra (USB). The Biafra government in exile made it possible especially supervised by Dr. Ngozi Orabueze to declare USB from Finland. I personally reminisced once after a praying meeting, this young lady came to me and said: “I am a visioner, as we were praying, I saw that your problem is that you tell people what you are doing or about to do, stop doing that otherwise people will be planning ahead of you.” Biafra government in exile was so busy announcing 2nd of December 2024 to declare Biafra while Nigeria government was equally busy planning how disrupt that day. They managed to pressurised Finnish Government to arrest Simon Ekpa on terrorism charge, thinking that Simon Ekpa’s case will be like that of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu where everything on IPOB standstill after the arrest of MNK. In spite of what happened, Simon Ekpa being arrested, although quite the opposite to this story that Ekpa was arrested other than he merely attended to the police station to put his side of the terrorism story. In spite of this, he was asked to keep away from Biafra activities until after investigation of terrorising South East of Nigeria is completed. At this stage Dr. Ngozi Orabueze being the deputy took over and change things around to confuse Nigeria government making the declaration any time between 29th of November to 2nd of December 2024 so that the Nigerian government will not be able to plan ahead to stop or spoil the declaration of the United States of Biafra (USB) in Finland. USB has joined the league of many countries that have established their governments in exile before installing or relocating the administration back home or before going back. Thenceforward take full control of their countries like Poland, France, Philippines, Luxembourg, Estonia, Dutch East Indies, Tibetan, Palestine, Spanish Republican, Panama, Greek Cairo, Taiwan, Generali tat de Catalunya, and host of other countries that operated government in exile. Poland: During the year of 1939 when Germany defeated Poland, the Polish government moved to England and became government in exile. From London they operated to form a government in Poland. France: General Charles de Gaulle established government in-exile from London to free France from German’s hands. During June 1940, Nazi Germany took over France, as a result, France surrendered to Germany which made Franch General, Charles de Gaulle escaping to London for safety. From the time of his arrival to London, Charles de Gaulle established Free French Government. And from London Charles de Gaulle managed to persuade French colonial territories in Africa, Asia and the Pacific to gather and liberate France from German rule. Philippines: The Philippines obtained their independence from the United States of America on the 4th July 1946. President Quezon and his war cabinet set up a government in exile in Australia. Luxembourg: Luxembourgish Government in exile. On the 10th of May 1940 there were attacks by German army to conquer Luxembourg that steered to cut off Luxembourgish government and monarch, effecting them into exile. The Luxembourg Government in exile was acknowledged, established in London between 1940 to 1944, despite the fact that Luxembourg was occupied by Nazi Germany. Estonia: The country was established in exile until their independence was gained. The Estonia Government in exile was ceremoniously declared governmental authority of the Republic of Estonia in exile. The administration was in existent from 1944 up until the reinstatement of Estonian autonomy over Estonian country in 1991.
