Written by Austin|28th July 2023When Peter Obi offered himself to the PDP on a platter. He started off by consulting from state to state and they made jest of him using low lives like Odanz, Sodiq, Reno, Sega etc. They asked that he test his popularity elsewhere leading to his exit. Upon leaving he left with PDP's SS ever present votes and SE undivided bloc votes. That move alone had allotted him two regions and the jostling began. Week by week Nigerians all over the federation organized 1Million Man March and a serious momentum was building. When it got to its crescendo the APC got jealous and jittery, they tried to copy but Buhari had done more damage than could be repaired. Atiku on the other hand was banking on the core NE/NW to come through by sprinkling a little tribal jab here and there but just like every other part of Nigeria they had had enough from insurgents, bandits and all the phantom promises. They wanted genuine change, an objective change that could address basic pressing needs. The odds and path to an ObiDatti victory got bigger when Kano red-capped-chief refused to throw in the towel after making un-complementary comments about the OBIdient movement, in fact he termed it "Andrew Liver Salt" an indication that his political calculations for 2023 were obsolete. But unlike him at that point the APC knew they were done for. Their political analysts may have plotted the chart of their impending defeat. Options were limited knowing BVAS technology won't spare them. The only viable option left was to buyout the entire electoral umpire and its architecture whom just like most corrupt institutions had a price. We saw that play out as everything else worked except transmission of presidential results. They had to ambush the aspirations of the whole nation in broad daylight. It was brazen, it was callous. The movement is close to making history via the court as evidences point to. Regardless of this outcome, the takeaway here is; it is more honourable to walk away from that abusive relationship even when you don't know where the road leads. Obi dared to dream along with Nigerians. He took a leap of faith and birthed this new youth awakening. The OBIdient movement is here to stay and no amount of gaslighting would dime it not when people has had a peck of the "Tinubu's Brain" whatever that was. THIS MANDATE MUST BE RECOVERED! Copied
