South South The Convenient Demarcation For Nigeria Written by Oguchi Martins Egbujor 11th April 2022 Nigeria used propaganda to confuse the peoples of South South who want to be confused. It is on record that the Igbos went to war with Nigeria because of the actions of Nzeogwu from Okpanam Asaba in the present day of Delta States and millions of Igbos lost their lives because of that. When it suits Nigeria economically and politically the people of Asaba are not Igbos but when it goes against them they reminded them that they are Igbos. The fathers and the grandparents of the people of Asaba and River State should be blamed for lying to their children due to greed and the need for survival but how could grown up men claimed that they are confused? This claim baffles me. The people of Asaba should ask their people why Murtala Muhammed massacred about one thousand men in Asaba during Nigerian Biafran war and let them explain that to the youth. Anyway, I don't blame Nigeria, I blame those who allowed themselves to be deceived due to selfishness. I seize this opportunity to remind the people of Asaba and River State, especially Ikwerre that there is nothing like south-south in Nigerian history. It is just a convenient political demarcation! You all should go and find out the reason why Denis Osadebe became the governor of Mid-western region. In fact, go and find out why the Igbos insisted that Mid-west should be created out of the old Western region. No matter what anyone or government does, no one would exterminate the Igbos. The British colonial master understood that very well hence they claimed that Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was a six-foot of arrogance. I blame Igbos in different regions of Nigeria, including those in Benue for confusing themselves. It is simple, you are Igbo, like it or hate it! Nigerians gang up against the Igbos selfishly without cause however, when we get to the bridge we will cross it. Let our detractors continue to gang up against us however, just one day, the appointed time, Igbos will free themselves and that will be the beginning of freedom for black man with afro hair. My name is Oguchi Martins Egbujor. I am your messenger; he who has ear let him hear.
