Every problem Nigeria has ever faced and will ever face can be traced to that demonic event of 1914 when the British merged the Southern and Northern protectorates into one country that is today known as Nigeria.
Britain had only one thing in mind while carrying out the amalgamation: Their administrative and economic convenience. Nothing more. The action of the British can be compared to a man who bought both herbivorous and carnivorous animals from the market and chose to put them in one cage to make it convenient for him to transport them home. This man knew that herbivores feed on herbs and are very harmless and easygoing while carnivores feed on flesh and are most times very aggressive and violent. In other words , the herbivorous animals in that cage might end up as meat for the carnivorous ones even before the man would reach his destination. He knew all these but still chose to put both animals together.
Do we need the brain of Albert Einstein to figure out the fact that the welfare of these animals was the last thing on this man’s mind? Rather, all he cared about was getting them all home whether dead or alive without spending extra money for another cage and extra fare for that new cage.
Even my three-month-old niece knows that the North and South have absolutely little in common. Not the same language, not the same culture, not the same religion, not the same ancestry, not even the same worldviews and as such, can’t possibly live together as one country.
Nigeria is many nations forced to remain within an unworkable forced marriage. The amalgamation was borne out of compulsion. That line “one Nation bound in freedom, peace and unity” in our national anthem is one hell of a dirty lie. Where is the freedom? Where is the peace? Where is the unity? I really think we’ve had enough of the rhetoric, the lies, the delusion. It is high time we got down to the real business of paying ourselves the courtesy of being blunt.
The “One Nigeria” slogan is one of the biggest organised lies of the century. There is absolutely nothing “One” about Nigeria. If we look at all the happenings in the country since 1914 till date, we will discover that the only thing that binds us together is mutual suspicion of one another.
A very influential Yoruba monarch once threatened to drown Igbo resident in Lagos in the lagoon, yet, not even a single shop owned by an Igbo man was burnt in Lagos as a result of that threat. Of all the cat and dog fights between the Yoruba and the Igbo, there has been no case of these two tribes attacking each other physically. They always end in long grammar which is how decent beings end their misunderstanding.
But for some other regions, every disagreement must end in bloodshed. Despite all the brutalities of the government, IPOB has never killed innocent people. Despite the volume of arms at its disposal, OPC has never attacked innocent people. Despite the gravity of environmental terrorism the Federal Government has carried out in the Niger Delta, neither MEND nor the AVENGERS ever bombed innocent people.
But even without provocation, the terrorists in other parts of Nigeria kill and maim innocent people and take over their land with the active support of the government.
All the killings of innocent people that have been carried out so far starting from the Igbo pogrom of 1945 in Jos and that of 1953 in Kano were all carried out by enemies of Nigeria unity.
Are we all waiting for a Rwanda 1994 example before we summon the needed courage to stop believing our own lie about Nigeria being one? This country has since reached its elastic limit. It can no longer stretch again. India and Pakistan were once a country. Today, look at India and look at Pakistan and tell me what you see!
The only solution to all the problems of this country is federalism in letter and spirit. Anything short of this will only leave us with the peace of the graveyard which is no peace at all. We must renegotiate our co-existence.

The attention of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the supreme command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu De Great has been drawn to the sleepless night of British government due to the final frontier of Nigeria imminent dissolution into abyss of oblivion.
Family Writers of IPOB has been secretly investigating the reason behind the recent diplomatic impasse of running up and down by British government led by Theresa May, going from USA to Israel and many other Biafra-friendly nations and have its findings intact. It is still on record that Theresa May invited newly inaugurated president of United States, Donald J. Trump for an undisclosed bilateral discussion which ended in deadlock.
Since then, Family Writers eagles have stepped up surveillance on the perfunctory diplomatic moves and persuasions of British govt left, right and center to different countries and organizations for one purpose - Keeping Nigeria (their business center) one.
Today, IPOB want to categorically draw the attention of international community to the findings of its media wing called Family Writers, which has it that Britain is running up and down restlessly to remedy their business center in Africa called Nigeria which is at the verge of imminent collapse not minding the advantages the dissolution could be to the so-called Nigerians which Nigeria as an entity has been sucking the blood of their loved ones. British government has been using its high commission in foreign countries to lobby for support to keep Nigeria together by force even when up 80% of Nigeria population is no longer interested in blood-sucking union.
Indigenous People of Biafra hereby invites people, organizations and governments of good conscience all over the world to ask the British government why they find it so difficult to allow the people of Nigeria to decide by themselves whether they want to continue in the imposed union called Nigeria or not. It is time for United State govt, Russia govt, Israeli govt, European Union, African Union and ECOWAS to ask Britain what is their interest in Nigeria that made them highly cynical to the extent that they do not care whether the whole Africa is consume by fire of tyranny or not so far as that their interest in Nigeria is protected.
It is on record that recently British High commissioner in Nigeria said that 1914 amalgamation of Nigeria done by Britain has expired in 2014, therefore people should stop accusing or blaming Britain for any misfortune that take place in Nigeria because they are no more colonizing Nigeria.
However, Family Writers of IPOB wish to ask Mr. High Commissioner as follows:
(1) Since Britain is no longer colonizing Nigeria, why is British Prime Minister Theresa May so interested and glued in wanting Nigeria one not minding its detriments to the people of diver cultures?
(2) Can’t such diplomatic, economic, bilateral and political interest of Britain in the defunct Nigeria be maintained by Biafra, Oduduwa, Islamic Arewa or any other federation that may emerge from the dissolved Nigeria when they inherit such British interest?
If such British interest of any kind cannot be consolidated with by the emerging federations from the dissolved Nigeria such as Biafra or Oduduwa, then such British interest must be questionable and devilish in entirety.
It is worthy of note that when Gen Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the first Biafra head of state declared Biafra in May 1967, Biafrans still pledged alliance to British govt and Common Wealth and promised the whole world to respect all the diplomatic and business treaties existing between Nigeria and any nation in which Biafra will inherit. Biafra still adopt pounds as their currency, it is Nigeria that rather threw pounds away for Naira & Kobo.
Now, if since 1967, Biafrans kept open hand of accepting bilateral relationship with any nation that may seek that from us, what is the fear of Britain about emergence of Biafra which made them continue to desire for blood-sucking #One Nigeria?
IPOB still maintains that no amount of British lobbying from United State to Israel to Russia to European Union & even NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) will remedy the shipwreck of Nigeria. The demon evoked by Lord Lugard from Niger River which hold Nigeria since 1914 has departed back to Euphrates River of Babylon where it came from.
Family Writers wish to use this medium to advise Britain to stay clear from Nigeria disintegration or risk being partaker of doom coming upon Nigeria blood-sucking federation. No amount of intervention or lobbying can save Nigeria because the decree has been given upon the watch.
I rest my case!
Every problem Nigeria has ever faced and will ever face can be traced to that demonic event of 1914 where the British merged the Southern and Northern protectorate into one country that is today known as Nigeria.
Britain had only one thing in mind while carrying out the amalgamation; their administrative and economic convenience. Nothing more.

it is beyond arguments that while the South wishes to live and compete in a new modern free world, the North only aspires to go back to the bondage of the dark ages.
A very influential Yoruba monarch once threatened to drown Igbos resident in Lagos in the lagoon, yet, not even a single shop owned by an Igbo man was burnt in Lagos as a result of that threat. Of all the cat and dog fight between the Yoruba’s and the Igbos, there has been no case of these two tribes attacking each other physically. It always end in long grammar which is how decent beings end their misunderstanding.
But, for the average Northerner, every disagreement must end in bloodshed.
A Northern Muslim doesn't really need a reason to start spilling blood. No reason at all. He could start killing southern Christians living in the North for such a flimsy excuse as the shooting of a Palestinian by an Israeli soldier in the far away West Bank in the Middle East. Even a planned hosting of beauty pageants somewhere in Kano by the federal govt resulted in the killing of hundreds of Southerners living in the North. A cartoon of Mohammed drawn in far away Denmark by a cartoonist who was neither Igbo nor even an African ended in the death of hundreds of Igbos in the hands of these Northerners few years ago.
Even as I type this, the two terrorist groups (Boko haram and Fulani militants) currently killing and maiming thousands and displacing millions are from the North and they are all Muslims.
Despite all the brutalities of the govt, IPOB has never killed innocent people. Despite the volume of arms at its disposal, OPC has never attacked innocent people. Despite the gravity of environmental terrorism, the federal govt has carried out in the Niger Delta, neither MEND nor the AVENGERS ever bombed innocent people.
But even without provocation, the Fulani terrorists kill and maim innocent people and take over their land with the active support of the govt headed by a Fulani man and the security forces controlled by Fulani men.
Charles Ogbu is not accusing the North of anything here but the truth remains the truth and no matter how bitter it is, it must still be said.
It is the North that is drawing this country back.
All the killing of innocent people that have been carried out so far starting from the Igbo pogrom of 1945 in Jos and that of 1953 in Kano were all carried out by Northerners. And remember, those 1945 and 1953 pogrom against Igbos living in the North happened long before Nigeria gained independence. This is for you to understand how long the North has been in the business of spilling blood.
Are we all waiting for a Rwanda 1994 example before we summon up the needed courage to stop believing our own lie about Nigeria being one???
This country has since reached its elastic limit. It can no longer stretch again.
India and Pakistan were once a country. Today, look at India and look at Pakistan and tell me what you see.
The only solution to all the problem of this country is total balkanization. Anything short of this will only leave us with a peace of the grave yard which is no peace at all.

The British amalgamation that brought divergent and opposing Indigenous nationalities in this part of the world that gave birth to the country called Nigeria, took place in the year 1914. It was orchestrated by greed and avarice. The British knew that the only way to perpetrate enslavement on the people is through the instrumentality of colonialism especially in Africa. And to accomplish this, a forceful concoction has to be carried out with a name tag. This of course they craftily implemented without seeking the consent of the various Indigenous people groups that had been in existence prior to that period. The gullible has been grossly deceived over the years to believe that the so-called Nigerian founding fathers were privy to the amalgamation agreement. This assertion remains questionable as calculating their ages prior to 1914 runs foul of reality. The ages of the Nigerian founding fathers as widely claimed, were yet inconceivably realistic before the event under consideration.
THE PRESENT DAY NIGERIA
The convoluted Nigerian system which was fundamentally premised by the British colonists right from inception, gave rise to discords and varying degrees of internal crises. And basically, the people (mostly Biafrans) have no other alternative than frontally demanding for their eventual and unstoppable exit from the unfruitful union. The contrapted empire right from time, has remained an exceptionally dangerous place for human habitation. People are steadily being slaughtered like animals as a result of forced and jaundiced unity primarily put together to service the interests of the colonialists and their Northern surrogates.
While a seemingly endemic economic hardship hit the people, suffering have become an institutionalized dividend of cluelessness in governance. The vampiric activities of Hausa-Fulani herdsmen cum Boko Haram terrorists have been elevated, as killing of unarmed, innocent civilians remain unabated. The government has kept blind eyes on these heinous crimes principally, because of the implementation of the planned drive of Fulani Islamic supremacy over and above every other things in Nigeria. The military whose fundamental obligation it is to curb internal crises of this magnitude, has shamelessly reneged on their professional contract of protecting lives and properties. They not only serve as service institution to the Fulani militias in their jihadistic conquest but also play the role of victimization tools in the hands of politicians against their perceived enemies.
Nigeria as a fantastically corrupt enclave, which is commonly referred to as the "Giant of Africa", has pitiably nosedived into self-destruct going by her generic evil antecedents. In the African continent, she has irredeemably lost her bearing and it is noteworthy to state here that every other African country that is bedeviled with corruption and bad government, is directly or indirectly schooled by Nigeria. Politically and economically viable countries in Africa of today, have gone well ahead because of right foundation and people-oriented governments.
There is absolutely no deducible reason why the oppressed Indigenous ethnic nationalities should not conduct a referendum to determine their future. The most appalling which has consistently left tears in the eyes of the people, is the unabated spate of gruesome killings of the innocent by Fulani Islamic militias known as herdsmen. They have assumed the position of untouchable monsters, wildly invading communities and villages, living trails of destruction of both lives and properties behind. The government of the day led by Muhammadu Buhari, an ardent Fulani Islamic fundamentalist, sees nothing wrong with this menace as the perpetrators are his cherished kinsmen. The government has remained partisan instead of proactively, taking decisions that will permanently stem the ugly trend. The masses have remained hopeless in the hands of a government that swore to an oath to provide them security and safety. The gravely compromised government calls the onslaught of these well armed vampires, "Farmers and Herdsmen clashes" to beguile the gullible while in actual truth, there exists absolutely nothing of such. It has been unrelenting invasions of these Fulani Islamic terrorists, of the people's homes and farmlands for recolonization.
It is pertinent to state here that before 6th of February 2014, the courageous and indefatigable leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, the Nigerian Army abducted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu prophesied that: "Fulani herders (terrorists) will be armed and encouraged to ravage our communities and slaughter us with brazen impunity and that their masters will protect them. They are coming to ensure that my people are enslaved forever..... Those who do not believe me, will see it happen before their very eyes.

Nigeria as a country is not existing until the British colonial masters came in Africa and brought colonialism in Africa, which forcefully amalgamated three different nations- Biafra, Ariwa and Oduduwa to become one war Nigeria. The Biafra/Nigeria civil war explains everything to the hearing of the world that Biafrans were not consulted before the amalgamation of Nigeria by the British evil colonial masters, represented by Frederick Lugard.
Nnamdi Kanu is fighting for a legitimate course, which is to liberate Biafrans from the slavery of the 1914 amalgamation that was forcefully imposed on Biafrans and which expired in the year 2014. Therefore, the continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian government is an abuse of human rights and a grievous human rights injustice.
Nnamdi Kanu is exercising his inalienable right to self determination which is enshrined in the United Nations charter for the protection and freedom of all indigenous subjugated people.
COLONIALISM AND THE RIGHT TO SELF DETERMINATION
Colonialism is generally regarded as the total or partial loss of autonomy of indigenous peoples to the coercive or forceful establishment of exploitative/oppressive governing authorities on unequal terms by a people, group or colonial power not ordinarily or historically linked culturally, geographically or linguistically to the colonised. Any group that therefore forcefully subjects another to their authority without democratic consent of the indigenous peoples through a plebiscite or referendum is an act of colonialism.
There was nothing like Nigeria until the British colonialists, in trying to consolidate their selfish commercial interest put together persons who has no cultural, geographic, linguistic or ethnic links with each other. It was from the onset an impossible country created not for the harmonious existence or interests of the unfortunate people who make up the strange and unworkable contraption, but for the servicing of British trading interests.
RIGHTS OF INDEGENOUS PEOPLE WORLD WIDE
"Indigenous peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development."
The British governments have severally caused war crimes against the Indigenous People Of Biafra and was also part of the joint genocide committed on Biafrans which lead to the death of over 3million Biafrans during the Biafran/Nigeria civil war till date. Nnamdi Kanu's unlawful detention and continuous incarceration is same thing as hiding the truth from the world, because he is with the secret atrocities committed and sealed by the Nigeria and British government against the people of Biafra.
Tagging IPOB as an unlawful society by the Nigerian government is same thing as dismantling the imposed human rights as stipulated for every indigenous people. The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) has every right to exercise the right to self determination as enshrined by United Nations and endorsed by Nigeria government, his continuous detention is total abuse of his fundamental human right and bridge of international and local laws.
