Ndi-Imo, Please Know Your Enemies

Rochas Okorocha and Senators Ararume

I was never, and truly never bothered about the imminent fall of Governor Rochas Okorocha because I knew from the onset that this must come. I also understood that all prophecies concerning the end of the Imo wired ruler must come too soon.

In last few days, we are seeing a gradual fulfillment of curses reigned upon the governor by angry Imo widows, pensioners, artisans, civil servants, etc. and there is no doubt that we are just at the preamble stage. The fall that will visit Governor Rochas Okorocha in the Imo politics will be one that no one has ever seen or known in history.

Imo APC2

Nature works in mysterious ways. Certainly, the ways of men are not same with God, but Vox Populi, Vox Dei, meaning that the Voice of the People is the Voice of God. Ndimo have spoken. They have cursed the beast that is a punishment upon them, and God has heard them.

The play Macbeth, by William Shakespeare illustrates how greed for power and wealth can result in the destruction of oneself as well as others.  The play's central character, Macbeth is not happy as a high-ranking thane - leading him to assassinate Duncan to become King, while unknowingly dooming himself.

At the beginning of the play, Macbeth was a kind and gentle person, like we saw in Governor Rochas Okorocha’s first term in office. And throughout the play many examples are evident of Macbeth’s unquenchable thirst for power leading to his eventual doom. This Play has all in similarity with the central character (Rochas Okorocha) in the unfolding Imo Play script.

But what however bothers me at this stage is knowing the will of God for Ndimo in 2019. This is where we must seek the face of God, for all that glitter are not gold.

Ndimo have seen the coming together of strange bed fellows – Senators Ifeanyi Ararume, Ben Uwajimogu, Hope Uzodinma, Osita Izunaso, as well as Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba, Deputy Governor Eze Madumere and a host of other Imo mercantile politicians coming together to attempt unseating the Imo brute. I call this a Coalition of Criminals Against Criminal. What is this common thing that has suddenly brought these guys together? This should be the question in the mouths of every Imolite.

Ndimo will never forget in a hurry in 2015 when Chief Ifeanyi Ararume abandoned the PDP and joined forces with Governor Rochas Okorocha to form the present government. His son was even appointed into the Okorocha’s government and Ararume heavily rewarded with Imo money. What is it that has changed today that Ararume is suddenly seeking Okorocha’s head?

Ndimo should be interested in knowing why suddenly the businessman senator Hope Uzodinma has left the PDP and with full force pulling to drag Okorocha down. Where has he been all the six years plus that Okorocha has remained in power and settling him with ego ndimo? Why is he now after Okorocha just because the governor has stopped releasing the money? A greedy politician with scammer’s ingenuity, ndimo should beware of Senator Hope Uzodinma let alone entrusting him with a guber ticket.

Senator Ben Uwajumogu was the Imo Speaker during Okorocha’s first term in office. In one fell swoop, Speaker Uwajumogu approved a four-year budgetary allocation for the governor. He was rewarded with Billions of Imo money, contracts and even given a part of the land that is Imo state’s Liaison Office in Abuja which he has converted to a hotel. Finally, he was given the stolen mandate of Chief Athan Achonu and he emerged the senator for Okigwe zone through the combined criminal operations of both Senator Hope Uzodinma and Governor Rochas Okorocha. Today, Uwajumogu wants Okorocha destroyed. Ndimo should ask questions.

What about the Deputy Governor Eze Madumere who has been with Okorocha all these years both as Chief of Staff and Deputy Governor? He had all this time covered Okorocha’s anus in all criminal and wired activities of the governor, thereby making self an accomplice in the fall that is today our Imo. Madumere now wants to be governor against Okorocha’s choice hence part of the allied forces against Okorocha. What has gone wrong that is not selfish and personal?

What exactly are these people looking for; and what is this that has suddenly bonded these strange characters together against Okorocha if not for Imo’s money for themselves and families?

Ndimo should rise and reject them. we shall continue to enjoy the fact that nature is using them to destroy one of their own, but we must shine our eyes to ensure that none of them succeeds Okorocha. Any of them that can come close to the Imo Government House in 2019 certainly will be worse than Okorocha.

We shall reject the devil and all his antics. We shall reject this emerging Agburu because it is worse than Agburu Okorocha. This brood of vipers are dangerous, deadly, criminally minded and occultic. They are the new face of Otokoto in Imo which must not be supported. They are simply after us and are not our friends. Anything Okorocha, Ararume, Uzodinma, Madumere, Uwajumogu, Izunaso and the rest of them from this blood-sucking, murderous and Jihadist’s party must be avoided completely by ndimo. Let’s not make another mistake even as 2019 approaches.

What are we waiting for? Isn’t it very obvious even to the daftest that the contraption called Nigeria is a failed state by every definition and every parameter? Is this what a country of 186 million people supposed to be? Should we continue to sustain a country that is unsustainable?
