On 8th of April 2017, The mobilization officer, Mazi Chikwendu Agwu alongside with his entourage and a Family Writers' journalist went to some local towns and remote villages to mobilize people in order to create more IPOB Family zones and units in the suburbs of Ebonyi State, Biafraland.
The mobilization commenced immediately we arrived at Ezza-mbo area of the local government, an area known to be a very busy place. The opportunity was seized to preach the gospel of Biafra restoration to the people, and which finally yielded a huge success before the entourage proceeded to other towns and villages in the same local government.
The evangelism was also taken to the various markets in the area and we got a good number of turn up from the business men and women who also pledged that on next visit, they will make sure majority of the marketers have already joined IPOB from the efforts they will give out.
However, the journey continued as we touched down at Mbo town. The IPOB mobilisation officers made sure we mobilized the entire town and villages, the elders, men and women and majority of the youths came out in mass to show solidarity with IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Among the elders of the community were the Biafran Veterans who testified the importance and reasons why Biafra restoration is more important to every Biafran all over the world than anything else.
They enumerated more on history of Biafra war and how they suffered at the hands of the Yoruba's, Hausa Fulani and their British counterparts.
Mazi Aroh Emmanuel, a veteran, addressed the people with emotions on how the sabotage of Biafra freedom began during the war, which was still the reason why Biafra restoration has been delayed. He called on all to join IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as he has already made up his mind to join, using the opportunity from the coming of IPOB Officials to the town.
The youth leader of the community, Professor (Dr) Igiri Basil Umeh, who is known as the youngest professor in the whole Ezza South Local government, declared total support for Biafra restoration, as he joined IPOB on the same day.
He expressed his gladness for the fact that the IPOB principal officers visited their town to establish IPOB family Zones. He said it is a wonderful and welcome development for the Biafra struggle.
He noted that he has been campaigning for Biafra restoration through online participation, such as twitter campaign through which he has been twitting to world leaders to help free Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra. He gave out his twitter handle as (@Professor(Dr)Igiri).
During the interview with a Family Writers' journalist, he pledged that he will do everything in his power to carry the entire Ezza South along for the great restoration project, he gave some words of admonition to the youths and elderly ones and encouraged them to come and support Biafra, because its the last hope for us and for our unborn generations.
The mobilization officer called up for people that are capable of serving as coordinators, so that they will be officially recognized as coordinator of various Zones in different towns and units under the oath of IPOB. The selected person were afterwards grilled on the norms and processes of IPOB meeting, as the tour ended in grand style with closing prayer.
We must continue!
